How You Eat Is Just As Important As What You Eat

Remember, how you eat is just as important as what you eat.

Have you ever counted how many chews you take before swallowing your food? Do you chew and swallow your food before putting another fork load in your mouth? Are you present at each meal or are you reading texts, talking on the phone or watching t.v. Perhaps you are always eating on the go with food in your hand as you run out the door? You may be one of those who sits down with a bag of popcorn as you are watching a sport or movie on the big screen. You then reach into the bag and the bag is empty. You are shocked as it is unbelievable that you could have finished the whole bag. You will enjoy each meal when you are present. Next time you sit down to a meal, set the table, look at the colors of food on your plate, take a moment to enjoy the flavors and different textures as you take each bite.
